Key Deliverables
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Tax and VAT
- Management accounts
- Balance sheet recons
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and review management accounts
- Prepare board and statutory JSE reports
- Review of balance sheet reconciliations
- Review and present budgets and forecasts
- Management of a team of 6 accountants
- Advanced Excel (ideally including macros)
- Reconcile and review balance sheet accounts monthly
- Prepare, review and approve journals
- Process-driven and ensuring adequate financial controls
- Project management, business analysis, and or systems testing experience an advantage
- Deal with SARS on Tax, VAT, and other queries
- Dealing with complex financial tasks
- Ability to collaborate with other divisions (i.e QS, Sales, etc)
- Timely management of month-end finalisation and reporting
- Responsible for intercompany balancing and loan accounts
