Balwin welcomes and embraces the increasing importance of ESG. Over the past year, we have adopted a group-wide ESG policy, developed an implementation plan, commenced tracking our carbon footprint, and made significant strides in green building, incorporating environmental practices into our developments. All of our new developments are built according to global environmental standards to obtain Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiency (EDGE) Advanced certification for all apartments and Six-Star Green ratings from the Green Building Council of South Africa (GBCSA) for its lifestyle centres.
