Governance
Driven by Purpose, Guided by Principles
The Balwin Foundation is governed with transparency and accountability, underpinned by a clear vision, mission, and set of objectives. As a registered Non-Profit Company (NPC), we ensure that every initiative is implemented with integrity and measurable impact.

The Three Pillars of Impact
Education
We are committed to building brighter futures through bursaries, maths and science support programs, career days, and skills development training that empower youth across the communities we serve.
Sports Development
Through initiatives like Learn2Swim, Cycling, and KickStart running training, we promote active, healthy lifestyles—helping individuals move from the couch to the road, step by step.
Charity
We support impactful community outreach programs in partnership with PBO-registered NPOs that align with our vision, ensuring meaningful change where it’s needed most.
The Foundation
Empowering Communities
The Balwin Foundation NPC was established in 2016 with a vision to uplift communities across South Africa. Through focused initiatives in education, sports development, and socio-economic support, we aim to create lasting impact and opportunities that empower individuals and inspire positive change.
Building Brighter Futures, Together
Our Foundation is the heart of Balwin's community outreach. With core pillars in Training, Sport, and Charity, we partner with local communities to spark progress where it's needed most. From skills development programs to youth sport and charitable campaigns, we're invested in creating opportunities that change lives.
Balwin Foundation Bursary Opportunities
We are proud to announce bursary opportunities for students pursuing degrees in fields that complement the Balwin Properties workforce. This initiative is part of our commitment to Youth Development and Skills Development.
Deadline for Bursary Applications are on 31 October 2025.
